ST. LOUIS, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Monsanto Company's (NYSE:
MON) Terry Crews, chief financial officer and executive vice president,
Carl Casale, executive vice president, and Steve Padgette, vice president
of biotechnology, will address investors in separate investor conferences
in September.
The Monsanto executives will provide an update on the company's
business performance and expectations, strategic initiatives, product
performance, research-and-development pipeline, and other business matters
at these conferences. These conferences include:
-- UBS Best of Americas Conference: On Friday, Sept. 12, Monsanto's
Padgette will be presenting at the Third Annual UBS Best of Americas

-- Golden Opportunities Conference and Field Tour hosted with BASF: On
Tuesday, Sept. 16, Monsanto's Padgette will be presenting at a joint BASF
and Monsanto investor event held in Ghent, Belgium. Padgette's presentation
will begin at 1:20 p.m. CEST or 6:20 a.m. central time (CT).
-- Bank of America 2008 38th Annual Investment Conference: On Tuesday,
Sept. 16, Monsanto's Crews will be presenting at the Bank of America 2008
38th Annual Investment Conference held in San Francisco. Crews'
presentation will begin at noon central time (CT).
-- Credit Suisse Chemical and Ag Science Conference: On Thursday, Sept.
18, Monsanto's Casale will be presenting at the Credit Suisse Chemical and
Ag Science Conference held in New York City. Casale's presentation will
begin at 11 a.m. central time (CT).
