JUNO BEACH, FL USA
JUNO BEACH, Fla., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- We are deeply saddened for the
friends and families of all those people involved in the tragedies today. We
are closely monitoring reports from local, state and federal law enforcement
agencies. We want to assure all Floridians that we have well-rehearsed
security programs in place at all of our facilities -- including our two
nuclear power plant sites at Turkey Point and St. Lucie -- and we are
exercising those plans at this time. We do not discuss details of our
security measures.

Both St. Lucie and Turkey Point nuclear reactors are housed in reinforced
concrete, steel-lined containment buildings built to withstand adverse weather
such as hurricanes and floods, earthquakes and even a crashing airliner.
