George Wright Named Senior Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide
Field Operations; Industry Veteran Joseph Murray Joins As
Senior Vice President of Professional Services

(CRM) solutions, today announced that it has promoted George Wright to the
position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Field
Operations. In his new role, Mr. Wright will now be responsible for worldwide
operations of sales, professional services, support renewals and customer
education. The Company also announced that Joseph Murray has joined the
company as Senior Vice President of Professional Services. Mr. Murray is
responsible for E.piphany's worldwide professional services organization, with
a focus on supporting E.piphany's partners and customers in the successful
deployments of E.piphany solutions.

Mr. Wright has 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the
technology sector. He joined E.piphany in June 1998 as Area Vice President of
Western Sales. In January 2001, he was promoted to Senior Vice President
& General Manager Americas. Mr. Wright came to E.piphany with extensive
experience in running successful sales operations and a track record of
achieving revenue targets and exceeding business objectives. Prior to
E.piphany, Mr. Wright was a sales director at Netscape Communications
Corporation, where he managed direct sales during a time when the company's
sales grew over 600%. Prior to Netscape, he held a number of sales and sales
management positions in both New York and Los Angeles for Oracle Corporation
and NCR Corporation. George holds a B.S. in Business from State University of
New York, Plattsburgh. He volunteers his time with the PTSA, YMCA and his
local community.
Mr. Murray joins E.piphany after 15 years with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG
Consulting) where he was most recently Managing Director of Contact Center
Solutions for the Financial Services Industry. Mr. Murray was a charter member
of KPMG Consulting's CRM practice, and in his tenure has worked extensively
with all of the major CRM vendors across nearly every vertical industry. With
17 years experience working in the CRM arena, he is one of the most
experienced professionals in the industry, with knowledge across the broad CRM
application space, as well as CRM Strategy and business process redesign
projects. Mr. Murray holds a B.S. in Decision Information Science from Santa
Clara University. He is active in volunteering his time with AYSO and his
local community.
