Constellation Energy Named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for Fourth Consecutive Year

Selection firmly establishes the company's role as both an environmental
and social responsibility leader across North America

    BALTIMORE, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Constellation Energy
(NYSE: CEG) today announced for a fourth consecutive year it has been named
to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), which tracks the financial,
environmental and social performance of leading sustainability-driven
companies worldwide.

"Being named to the Sustainability Index once again serves as a strong
indication of our continued commitment to delivering solid financial
performance while meeting key environmental and social responsibility
goals," said Mayo A. Shattuck, chairman, president and chief executive
officer of Constellation Energy. "We will continue to make responsible
choices for the environment, the communities we serve and all of our
stakeholders."

DJSI annually reviews corporations both regionally and globally across
a wide range of industry sectors. The results are based on a thorough
analysis of set criteria, which include a corporation's economic,
environmental and social performance. Investors around the globe monitor
the lists annually to determine which companies are successfully
establishing and achieving sustainability initiatives.

Constellation Energy is one of 10 U.S. companies named to the DJSI
North America in the utilities sector. This index focuses on economic
transparency and measures the stock market performance of the top 20
percent of leading sustainability companies in North America. In addition,
the rankings help encourage corporations to invest in sustainability
initiatives, as well as reduce the current and future risks associated with
these industry wide performance benchmarks.
