the new product hitting the menus at Captain D's locations across the country
today.
    Captain D's is introducing a new twist to its Jumbo Chicken Tenders with
the rollout out of Batter-Dipped Chicken, so good it's being called "The best
dang chicken on the planet!"  The chain is hand dipping the best part of the
best chicken into the Captain's own world-famous recipe batter and serving
them golden brown with a side of fries, hush puppies and a 22-ounce drink all
for just $3.99.
    "We're giving consumers a one of a kind taste that they can't get
anywhere, our famous recipe batter on a juicy chicken tender," says Cindy
Tooley, director of marketing for Captain D's. "We know that people love the
taste of our batter dipped fish and now we are giving everyone a brand new
option when then visit Captain D's for lunch and dinner.  This is just another
example of how we are going to continue to energize our menu with flavorful
new products and promotions."

    The Batter-Dipped Chicken product line-up also features:

     -- The Batter-Dipped Chicken and Fish Combo -- One piece each of our new
        Batter-Dipped Chicken and our traditional classic fish, served with
        fries, hushpuppies and a 22-ounce drink for $3.99.
     -- The Batter-Dipped Chicken Dinner -- Three juicy, jumbo hand-battered
        chicken tenders, served with fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies for

locations nationwide for a limited time.
