Encore Puts the Fright Right Back in Halloween With
                       'Fear Fest: 31 Nights of Horror'

        Television Premiere of Director Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders

          Television Premiere on October 1st Instead of October 31st

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- October can only mean one
thing, Halloween and FEAR FEST:  31 Nights of Horror on Encore.  There's a
different fright flick every night at 8:00 p.m. -- which translates -- NO
REPEATS, Chuckie!  The event begins October 1st with the world television
premiere of cult director Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders.
    "This is the ultimate Halloween-themed programming stunt, which promises
to be the start of a heart pounding, nail biting annual event," says Michael
Ruggiero, vp of programming and scheduling.  "Encore is flexing its horror
muscles showing the films uncut and commercial-free, like no other network
can."
    In Director Hooper's (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Toolbox Murders, a
historic Hollywood hotel houses a supernatural evil.  Although it's been
dormant for decades, renovations start a series of gruesome murders.
