TOKYO, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikihisa Hirai has joined GMAC Commercial
Mortgage Corporation Japan, K.K. as Representative Director and President. He
will direct expanded investment and servicing activities of GMAC Commercial
Holding Corp. in Japan.
Prior to joining GMAC Commercial Mortgage Japan, K.K., Mr. Hirai was
Managing Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers and held several managerial
positions at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (BTM).
During his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers he was engaged in financial
advisory work for Japanese financial institutions, governmental agencies and
investors in Japanese financial institutions and various assets. His
experience at BTM included financial advisory work on real estate investments,
real estate finance, troubled loan workouts, corporate strategic planning,
credit portfolio management, and regulatory management including preparation
and submission of bank merger and acquisition applications in the United
States.
His past accomplishments include various successful syndications of
Japanese investors in U.S. real estate, the first bulk sale of non-performing
Japanese domestic loans and various types of structured sales of
non-performing loans including limited-recourse seller financing both as
principal and advisor.
Mr. Hirai is a graduate of the University of Tokyo and the Amos Tuck
School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College.
