BRYAN, Texas, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc.
(Nasdaq: NTRL) a leading manufacturer of ergonomic chairs and accessories,
today announced the appointment of Mark Benden, MS, CPE, to the newly created
position of Vice President of Total Customer Experience. In this new
position, Mr. Benden will be responsible for all aspects of the overall
customer experience. This move coincides with the strategic plan that has
evolved as a result of the New Millennium Group's ongoing consulting work.
In addition to his responsibilities for engineering, research and
development and quality assurance, Mr. Benden will now add customer support.

development of new products, improvement of current products and customer
support, the company can better serve its customers current and future needs,"

In his previous position, Mr. Benden provided technical guidance for the
Harvard acquisition, led the company towards ISO 9001 certification, developed
new products including four with patent pending status, reduced direct
material costs on many popular models and spearheaded feature upgrades on the
overall product line.
Mr. Benden received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical
Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also received his Master of Science
Degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Ergonomics and a
minor in Safety Engineering from Texas A&M University.
As a commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserve, he served on
active duty with the Corps of Engineers during the Gulf War. His civilian
career includes experience as a Rehabilitation Engineer, an Ergonomic
Consultant, a plant Ergonomic Engineer, a corporate Ergonomist for Johnson &
Johnson, Inc., and most recently as Vice President of Engineering for Neutral
Posture Ergonomics, Inc.
Mr. Benden is the author of several published articles on Ergonomics and
has been called upon to lecture to multiple professional groups throughout the
United States and Canada.
Mr. Benden holds certificate #706 from the Board of Certification in
Professional Ergonomics Inc. as a Certified Professional Ergonomist. He is an
active member of the Institute for Industrial Engineers, The American Society
of Safety Engineers and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
