National Bank of Commerce Announces Promotion To Benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital(R)

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- When customers of National Bank
of Commerce sign up for the bank's "Totally Free Checking" account, they'll
also be aiding in the fight against childhood cancer through a special program
serving St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
As a customer incentive, the bank will donate $10 for each free checking
account that is opened. "Customers must specify that they want NBC to make
the donation to St. Jude, or they can elect to receive a gift. However, it is
our hope that people will open their hearts and give to the children at St.
Jude," said Bill Menkel, president of National Bank of Commerce. "Anyone who
knows of St. Jude's valuable research or who has known a family that has
suffered through cancer will appreciate the value of each dollar donated."
The program will run from September 17 - mid-November and is being
conducted only in the Memphis, Arkansas and Mississippi National Bank of
Commerce locations.
