Former SolidWorks VAR cites PTC competitive strengths
HOUSTON, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Impac Systems, the Houston-
based technology solutions reseller, today announced that it has signed a
value-added reseller agreement with PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product
Development Company(TM), to offer MCAD solutions to customers throughout
Texas.
With more than 18 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
serving over 5,000 customers, Impac Systems will immediately begin promoting
and selling PTC's innovative Pro/ENGINEER(R) Wildfire(TM) to the engineering
community. In partnering with PTC, Impac has terminated its two-year
relationship with SolidWorks. This new partnership will enable Impac Systems
to leverage the technical and marketing resources of an established company
such as PTC, while catering to the specific needs of its customers in the
channel.
