terrorist activity committed against the United States on Tuesday,
September 11, 2001, it was widely reported by the media that the FBI was
investigating the possibility of related terrorist suspects having been
registered at The Westin Copley Place, Boston.
During Wednesday's thorough investigation of the hotel and guest records,
the FBI evacuated all guests and employees for approximately one hour. At the
completion of their investigation, the FBI determined that the individuals in
question were in no way related to the terrorist attacks. All guests and
employees were allowed to return safely to the hotel.
