Premcor CEO to Present at Energy Conferences in London and Paris

Chief Executive Officer, will speak at Deutsche Bank's Global Oil & Gas
Conference on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Winchester House Auditorium
in London, England and Natexis Bleichroeder's 1st Annual Transatlantic Energy
Services Conference on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at the Marriott Hotel
Champs-Elysees in Paris, France.
