Thousands of Attendees Gather at Hynes Convention Center for Three Major
Conferences Under One Roof
BOSTON, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- CMP Technology today kicked off
TechMash 2007 (http://www.cmp.com/techmash), bringing together hundreds of
attendees and exhibitors for three conferences -- Embedded Systems
Conference, Software Development Best Practices, and RFID World -- at the
Hynes Convention Center in Boston on September 18-21.
The crowd today enjoyed keynote presentations including Jim McCarthy,
President, McCarthy Technologies who detailed for the audience how to
successfully aggregate the intelligence of their employees to solve tough
problems and achieve greatness at will. Also, David Intersimone, VP of
Developer Relations and Chief Evangelist of CodeGear took to the stage and
spoke of the great changes in today's software development world and what
the future of software development looks like in our virtual world.
Ivar Jacobson of Ivar Jacobson International is to take the stage later
in the day to discuss how adopting complete processes does not make
practical sense, rather how people should mix and match ideas for software
development practices.
Attendees gathered during the first day of the conference for
interactive tutorials. During the next three days conference attendees will
be able to attend more than 250 tutorial sessions, from hour-long
instruction to day-long in-depth lessons. Today's sessions included:
Embedded Linux Jumpstart with William Gatliff
Java Jumpstart with Michel de Champlain
DSP Demystified with John Edwards
Extreme Wireless with Larry Mittag
Tomorrow the shows will gain even more momentum as the exhibit floor
opens featuring more than 200 companies including AMD, Mentor Graphics,
Microsoft, National Instruments (NI), Seagate Technology, IBM, Telelogic
and more.
