LOS ANGELES, and ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Warner
Cable's Los Angeles (TWCLA) system will offer to all of its Digital Cable
subscribers households free full episode sneak previews on Video On Demand
(VOD) of "Crash," the first original dramatic series from premium TV
provider Starz Entertainment beginning October 1st.
From the producers of the Academy Award(R)-winning Best Motion Picture
of 2006, full-length episodes of "Crash" will be made available for free
viewing through On Demand in both TWCLA's "Free On Demand" and Starz On
Demand VOD categories. The "Crash" early sneak preview precedes the October
17th Starz primetime premiere at 10PM PT.
High definition and standard definition versions of the premiere
episodes of "Crash" will be available during the "Crash" early sneak
preview. Episodes of "Crash" will remain a staple in the Starz On Demand
Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) programming mix and will debut
day-and-date on Starz On Demand with new episode premieres. Starz On Demand
is complimentary with Starz premium channel subscriptions for TWCLA
customers.
Co-produced with Lionsgate, "Crash" is a provocative new 13-episode
drama starring an ensemble cast led by film icon Dennis Hopper. Set in Los
Angeles, the series explores the complexities of social and racial
tolerance through characters whose lives intersect and collide.
