Raytheon Aircraft Refines Sales and Marketing Organization

WICHITA, Kan., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Aircraft Company has
refined its Sales and Marketing organization, making it easier for customers
to interface with the company.
"This is part of a continuous process of listening to what our customers
want," said Karl Childs, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Raytheon
Aircraft. "Our customers tell us they want easy access to information on our
products and services -- in other words, they want to know who to approach for
information. Refining and simplifying the reporting structure within Sales
and Marketing will make Raytheon Aircraft easier to do business with."
Childs will continue to report to Hansel Tookes, chairman and chief
executive officer of Raytheon Aircraft. Under Childs, Michael J. Scheidt will
continue as vice president, Airline Program, while all general aviation sales
will now fall under Brad Hatt.
With a new title of vice president, Global General Aviation Sales, Hatt
will lead the global sales team for all of the company's worldwide commercial
jet, turboprop and piston sales. The domestic sales force will be led by four
regional vice presidents divided by product lines: Mike Langston, jets; Jim
Groff and John Anastas, turboprops; and Brad Stancil, pistons. Tim McWilliams
will continue to direct Raytheon Aircraft's Worldwide Dealer Operations.
The international sales force will be consolidated to a single sales
management team responsible for all Raytheon Aircraft commercial jet,
turboprop and piston sales, led by regional vice presidents Ted Farid, Europe,
Middle East and Africa; Don Dwyer, Latin America; and Tom Ryan, Pacific Rim.
"Our goal is to offer customers a streamlined, efficient, effective and
customer focused sales team," Childs said.
Raytheon Aircraft, a unit of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTNA, RTNB) had
revenues of $2.7 billion in 1999.
