NEW YORK, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America today announced that
Anne Yang will join Banc of America Securities as a managing director. Yang
is expected to start in November and will report to Harry van Dyke, global

Van Dyke joined Banc of America Securities in June to lead this new
transaction development effort. Yang is the third in a series of recent
hires to this group, along with Clark Dees and Shawn Canter, both of whom
are also based in New York.
"Bank of America has an unmatched commercial, corporate and investment
banking client footprint," van Dyke said. "I'm confident that Anne will
help develop additional momentum when she joins the team later this fall."
Yang has more than 20 years of investment banking, capital markets and
management consulting experience. She will join Bank of America following
six years with Goldman Sachs, where she was a managing director responsible
for industrial idea generation for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
Before that, Yang was a managing director in M&A at Salomon Smith Barney
where she was integral in building a global Business Development Group.
Prior to that, Yang spent several years in various positions with Strong
Capital Management, CS First Boston, and Booz, Allen and Hamilton.
Yang received Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical
Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of
Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton
School of Business.
Dees recently joined Bank of America as a principal in the Transaction
Development Group. He previously spent six years at Morgan Stanley in a
variety of Mergers & Acquisitions roles. Most recently, he served as an
independent M&A advisor, including to Performax Management, a New
York-based private investment group.
Canter, who recently joined the Transaction Development Group as a vice
president, has entrepreneurial management and investment banking
experience, including four years spent previously in M&A positions at
Goldman Sachs.
