Association to Facilitate Successful Implementation and Adoption of Technology
By Customers
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- QuickArrow today announced it has
joined the Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) as a Founding
Member. Through unprecedented collaboration among its members, the
association is chartered to identify, develop and define best practices for
professional service organizations delivering technology solutions. This
collaboration will result in reducing customer risks, improving project
successes, and ultimately facilitate successful implementation and adoption of
technology by customers.
As a founding member, QuickArrow will help formulate the association
agenda, develop best practices guidelines, and advise and review proposed
initiatives to ensure that every aspect of the organization is optimized to
address all the challenges and opportunities in technology professional
services.
"There has been an unmistakable need for a Professional Services industry
association for some time," says QuickArrow CEO and president, Elizabeth
Davis. "Over the last several years, QuickArrow has strived to provide
educational and best practices content to our clients and prospects. As a
founding member of TPSA, we can now more effectively collaborate with other PS
industry thought leaders, and ultimately increase the success of the services
industry as a whole."
According to TPSA leadership, in the history of technology professional
services, no other initiative has come forward with this level of executive
support and commitment. TPSA uniquely fills a critical information gap in the
industry. More than ever, technology providers must deliver service
capabilities that enable cost effective business solutions for their
customers.
"We are very pleased to have secured the executive support and thought
leadership from such a key influencer in the professional services industry,"
said Thomas E. Lah, well-known industry expert and author, who has been named
executive director of TPSA. "This commitment, which stems from the clear
understanding of the need for improved processes and their resulting business
impact, is our strongest guarantee that TPSA will establish itself as a
significant voice of the technology industry."
In addition to QuickArrow, TPSA Founding Members include BEA Systems,
Computer Associates, Convergys, Genesys Telecomm Labs, GlassHouse
Technologies, Hitachi Data Systems, Hyperion Solutions, IKON Office Solutions,
Mercury Interactive, Parametric Technology Corporation, Peregrine Systems,
Progress Software, salesforce.com, SBI Group and Sterling Commerce.
Leveraging its influential membership, TPSA will serve as a pre-eminent
thought leader and issues advocate, providing insights and trends analysis to
the media, industry and business community-at-large on all matters related to
technology professional services.

Diego. For TPSA community resources including important industry news and key
