WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The biggest ONA conference to date
will be held Oct. 6-7 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., featuring
an exciting line-up of panel discussions, keynote addresses and the ONA's
prestigious Online Journalism Awards.
The conference is structured on three tracts: content, convergence and
commerce. It's aimed at veteran Web parishioners, newcomers and managers
charged with growing the bottom line.
Sessions will include wisdom from digital leaders in new media, plus a
look at young people's news habits. Finalists for the Online Journalism
Awards and other "Best of the Best" who have produced cutting-edge content
in the past year will be on hand to provide insights into their work. The
conference culminates with a banquet that announces the award winners.
Highlights from this year's conference include:

conference on Friday, October 6th. As Deputy Director and Controller of
Production for BBC News, Van Klaveren has editorial, production and
