National Search Underway
FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Financial Executives
International (FEI), the leading professional organization serving chief
financial officers (CFOs) and other senior financial executives, today
announced the resignation of Colleen Cunningham as President and CEO.
"This is a personal decision and in no way reflects on my dedication to
and respect for FEI," explained Cunningham. "This is an incredible
organization, and I intend to remain active in FEI as a member. I have
thoroughly enjoyed this job and working with the tremendous FEI staff and
volunteer leadership."
Cunningham will stay on as President and CEO until her successor has
been named. After that, she will begin to search for new opportunities. FEI
has begun the task of forming a search committee to identify a successor;
it will be headed by past FEI Chair Mary Jo Green, senior vice president
and treasurer of Sony Corporation of America. FEI has also hired the
executive search firm Christian & Timbers to consult in the selection of
Cunningham's successor.
"All of us in the FEI leadership are greatly appreciative of her
exemplary tenure," commented FEI Chairman Richard Schrader. "I think I can
speak for all of us in FEI leadership that it has been our privilege to
work with Colleen these past three and a half years."
