CSG's Industry-Leading Self-Service Solution Grows by 1 Million Subscribers
in Just Nine Months
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global billing and
customer care solutions provider CSG Systems (Nasdaq: CSGS) today announced
that its CSG(R) Care Express product, a solution for broadband and direct
broadcast satellite (DBS) providers that enables online customer self-service,
now serves 3.2 million end subscribers of cable and satellite services.
CSG Care Express allows customers to manage their accounts, view and pay
bills over the Internet and virtually eliminates manual processes carried out
by customer service representatives (CSRs) when taking orders and upgrading
services. Care Express offers convenience for the consumer and saves expense
for the operator as these customers do not have to contact the call center for
routine business.
Today, more than 3.2 million subscribers have registered to use these
services offered by broadband and DBS providers nationwide, powered by CSG
Care Express. CSG has added more than a million end customers to its system
just since last November when the solution managed transactions for 2 million
customers nationwide.
Through broadband and satellite providers across the United States, 28
million subscribers have access to Care Express services. Of those, 3.2
million are registered users, paying bills online and using self-service
options on a regular basis with more than 3,000 new users signing up each day.
CSG Care Express has a greater than 8 percent average adoption rate,
significantly higher than that of the cable industry overall.
