Ranger Radio Frequency ("RF") wireless portable printer series.
Code Ranger wireless RF printers enable printing at a wide variety of
application points without cables. Code Ranger RF makes a significant value
add to networked environments that require wireless barcode printing
flexibility. RF Wireless capability allows Code Rangers to print up to
1,500 feet away from wireless access points, providing maximum freedom of use.
Code Ranger RF also avoids the problems and potential hazards associated with
cables and connectors. The large installation base of Symbol Spectrum 24
(802.11) networks, including warehouse, retail stores and industrial
environments, will benefit from Code Ranger's ability to drop-in replace
existing printers. WiFi 802.11b versions of Code Ranger printers are
compatible with the growing market of WiFi products including laptops,
handheld computers and portable data collection devices. Code Ranger's
modular design enables users to upgrade to future wireless technologies as
they become available without having to replace the entire printer.
Code Ranger portable printers increase employee productivity with large
media roll capacity, long-life battery and small form factor. Designed to
fulfill requirements where a fast return on investment and ease-of-integration
are key factors, Code Rangers print on media up to 2.4" wide and up to
16" long at 203 dpi. Code Ranger is attractive for retail and rugged enough
for industrial environments. The RF printer weighs only 1.5 lbs and prints
labels, tags and receipts at 4 inches per second.
