DETROIT, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 11, Budco, the Highland
Park based marketing and distribution company, announced a contribution of
$5,250 to the Washington State based Firefighters National Trust. This was
the second year of a five-year commitment made by Budco to, each year, support
victims of the terrorist attacks that occurred on that day in 2001.
Following the tragedy, Budco employees overwhelmingly wanted to show their
concern and support. The company organized a collection and provided a
"corporate match," establishing the amount of the annual contribution.
Budco's overall corporate charitable focus is on organizations that
support children and families.
Budco chose the Firefighters National Trust as its beneficiary this year
not only because of the obvious heroism that was demonstrated on September 11,
2001, but because of the loss experienced by a family unit whenever a
firefighter loses his or her life.
The Firefighters National Trust is dedicated to helping "bring the pieces
together" by supporting the spouses and children of our fallen heroes
nationwide with Income Bridging, Grief Counseling and Educational Scholarship
support.
Budco helps organizations solve business communication problems and build
dialogue with their customers by developing and executing marketing solutions.
The company uses a variety of traditional and digital marketing competencies
in innovative ways to do this. Founded in 1982, the company's vision is to be
recognized as the leader in providing dialogue business solutions, measured by
customer loyalty, attracting and retaining outstanding employees, community
involvement and financial growth. Clients include Allied Domecq,
DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, HoneyBaked Ham, McNeil
Consumer Health and Specialty Pharmaceuticals (a division of Johnson &
Johnson), SBC, TAP Pharmaceutical, UPS, VW/Audi, and Walt Disney Co.
