HeyLetsGo Announces Launch at DEMOfall 2006

Unique Social Web site Combines Online Interaction and Offline Experiences
                         for Millions of Urbanites

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass./SAN DIEGO, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- HeyLetsGo, the
unique social website that connects people around local events to enrich
their offline social life today announced that they will showcase their
company launch, initially for the Boston region, at DEMOfall 2006 in San
Diego, CA, September 25-27.
HeyLetsGo is built for the 50 million urban 25-40 year-olds in America
for whom social life is the top priority. The site informs them of what's
happening near them and who's going, and, allows them in turn to contribute
and share their favorite local events and interests. HeyLetsGo's active,
engaged community has grown to more than 80,000 Boston-area people who have
experienced firsthand that connecting online around events and activities
can enhance their offline social and leisure lives. HeyLetsGo is the only
social Web site that is specifically designed for this demographic and
offers them ways to enrich their real-life activities with online
interaction; something that traditional social networking Web sites do not.
"Given that the lifestyle and entertainment expenditures of people in
the 25-40 age range are in excess of $600 billion a year, it's clear that
young urbanites crave more than a place to surf and chat online," said Roy
Rodenstein, co-founder and chief executive officer of HeyLetsGo. "People in
the post-college crowd often spend long hours in the office, and in their
precious leisure time want to meet real people, make real connections, go
to activities that interest them, and make the most of their social life
and the richness that their city has to offer. Ours is the only social Web
site that helps people establish deeper connections with each other through
our unique combination of online interaction and offline experiences. In
just four months we've seen our community grow to tens of thousands of
active users and we're confident that our success in Boston will be
duplicated nationwide."
HeyLetsGo recently hosted "Fenway Fest 2006" a huge event that
attracted more than 5,000 people and gave participants a unique way to
experience legendary Fenway Park, take part in fun activities and, most
importantly, meet up with friends and connect with thousands of new people.
Events such as this demonstrate the strength of engagement that HeyLetsGo
can create among its members.
Ashley Marks, 23, says she joined HeyLetsGo because she was looking for
things to do. The event aspect of the site makes it welcoming and less
about chatting online with strangers, she offers. "If someone on HeyLetsGo
asked me to go to something, I wouldn't assume they had ulterior motives,"
said Marks, noting her perception that most social networks are primarily
about dating. "HeyLetsGo is about knowing what's going on and where to go."
HeyLetsGo is publicly demonstrating its technology for the first time
at DEMO, with plans to launch the service in additional metropolitan areas
including San Francisco and New York in the coming months. They will be
located at station #12 in the pavilion and are scheduled to present at the
conference on Wednesday, September 27th, at 3:12 p.m. PDT.
"I look for the smartest new ideas that will have a real impact on the
IT industry and consumer behavior," said Chris Shipley, executive producer
of DEMO. "HeyLetsGo clearly stands out as a company that has found a unique
way to enrich people's lives."
HeyLetsGo, based in Cambridge, Mass., has received support from
prominent venture capital firms. The company is currently planning its
regional expansion, along with enhancements for its patent-pending event
aggregation and enrichment technologies, and marketing initiatives.
