MarketWatch.com Sites Increase Lead With Top Reach Numbers in Category

            Top Financial Content Provider for 10th Straight Month

    SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- MarketWatch.com, Inc.
(Nasdaq: MKTW) today cited Media Metrix August results to demonstrate its Web
properties' strong hold on the position of most popular Internet destinations
for financial news and information.
    The report shows MarketWatch.com properties with a World Wide Web reach of
6.2%, a 13% improvement over July's reach of 5.5%. MarketWatch.com sites
recorded 4.77 million unique users in August, 13% over July's 4.23 million.
Additionally, the sites' at-work-only reach is up to 8.6% for August. The
MarketWatch.com sites' totals were again the highest among providers dedicated
primarily to the delivery of financial news and information for the tenth
consecutive month.
