Raytheon Awarded General Services Administration LOGWORLD Contract

    RESTON, Va., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has
been awarded a Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) contract by the General Services
Administration (GSA) to provide logistics services and solutions to federal
and civil agencies. This contract has a five-year base period with one five-
year option period ending March 29, 2010. Raytheon's total awards over the
life of the contract are anticipated to be up to $12.5 million.
    LOGWORLD is a multiple-award, indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery
contract designed to help federal agencies enhance or replace existing
logistics operations with the latest concepts, methodologies and technologies
in material and resource acquisition, distribution and supply chain
management. Tasks will include supply chain management, acquisition logistics,
distribution and transportation logistics, deployment logistics and logistics
training services. The contract also contains provisions that allow the
purchase of new services as they are developed.
