Rational Rose Wins Best Modeling Tool Third Year in a Row

Rational Software (Nasdaq: RATL) today announced that the company has been
honored with three Readers' Choice awards from Java Developer's Journal.
Recognized as the best products for Java development, Rational Rose(R) won the
Best Modeling Tool award, Rational(R) TeamTest won the Best Testing Tool
award, and Rational(R) Quantify(R) won the Best Profiling Tool award.

This marks the third year in a row that Rational Rose has won for Best
