SEATTLE, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Immunex Corporation (Nasdaq: IMNX) today
announced that Laura Hamill has been promoted to vice president of marketing
for ENBREL(R) (etanercept). A seasoned pharmaceutical marketing executive,
Ms. Hamill will be responsible for overseeing initiatives in existing and
potential new markets for ENBREL.
"Laura's extensive experience in marketing and advertising have greatly
contributed to the strong branding of ENBREL," said Barry Labinger, senior
vice president and general manager, commercial operations at the company.

Prior to joining Immunex last year, Hamill was executive vice president at
Klemtner Advertising in New York where she oversaw advertising and marketing
programs for a number of brands including ENBREL. She previously worked at
Hoffmann La-Roche Laboratories for seven years in sales, market research and
product management positions. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from
the University of Arizona.
