Kaman Corp. has announced the promotion of Robert Bateman to Assistant Vice
President, Internal Audit. He reports to Robert Garneau, Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Bateman joined Kaman Corp. last year as Director of Internal Audit.
Prior to joining Kaman, he was a senior manager with KPMG LLP. He has also
worked with Johnson & Johnson as a controller for their Norwood, Massachusetts
operation and was a production superintendent with Hazen Paper Company.
He received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst in 1988 and his masters degree in business
administration from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, Connecticut in
1991.
Mr. Bateman is a certified public accountant and is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts
Society of Certified Public Accountants. He and his family reside in
Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
Kaman Corp., headquartered in Bloomfield, conducts business in the
aerospace, industrial distribution and music distribution markets.
