Commercial Metals Company Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend
 
    IRVING, Texas, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors
of Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC) has declared a quarterly cash
dividend of six cents per share on common stock to shareholders of record
October 7, 2005.  The dividend will be paid October 21, 2005.
    This is the 164th consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by Commercial
Metals Company.
    In addition, the record date for the annual meeting of shareholders to be
held on January 26, 2006, will be November 28, 2005.
