Red Brick Announces Resignation of John Warnock from Board Of Directors

(Nasdaq: REDB), today announced that John Warnock has resigned from its board
of directors effective September 8, 1998.  This resignation follows Mr.
Warnock's commitment to Adobe Systems, Inc. shareholders on August 11, 1998,
when he stated that he would resign from the three public board positions that
he held to intensify his focus on day-to-day operations at Adobe Systems, Inc.
