SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Imaging Corp. (Nasdaq: AICX), announced today the
appointment of Carl W. Hull to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. Hull will be responsible
for running the day to day business for the Company on a worldwide basis and will continue to report to Dr. Jack
Goldstein, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Hull joined Applied Imaging in 1997 and has served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the
Company. Prior to joining the Company he served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for
Ventana Medical Systems after various senior executive positions during his 14-year tenure with Abbott
Laboratories.
"With the acquisition of the Vysis cytogenetic instrument business and the launch of the Micrometastasis
Detection System (MDS(TM)) our focus must be to execute the marketing and sales plan in the field", said Jack
