President Tony Perkins released the following statement after House Speaker
Dennis Hastert (R-IL) announced that House Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) would
temporarily take over Congressman Tom DeLay's duties as House Majority Leader.
"I am confident that House Whip Roy Blunt will continue Tom DeLay's
efforts to move forward with pro-family public policies which drove turnout
among values voters in the last election. Congressman Blunt has been a
