LINTHICUM, Md., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has
been awarded a contract by the National Security Agency (NSA) to provide
support services for the NSA's high frequency systems.
The contract has a value of $1.2 million with a potential value of $35
million if all options are exercised. Raytheon will perform the work at
various customer sites with management and administrative support out of its
Linthicum, Md., facility.

demonstrates our capability of large-scale risk-reduction and management of
mission-critical systems," said Steve Hawkins, vice president of National
Systems for Raytheon. "We are excited to continue working with our customer
to assure continued high quality of service and system availability."
Raytheon's work on the contract will focus on sustaining engineering
services to support 24/7 operations to include preventative maintenance,
trouble-shooting, and customer support.
