Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation's Annual Rose Gala; Foundation to Honor Heroes of 9/11 Tragedy

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Terri Lynne Lokoff
Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) will honor two heroes of the 9/11 tragedy at
its 15th Annual Rose Gala, on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at The Crystal Tea
Room, Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia, PA. The staff members of both
Knowledge Learning Centers/World Trade Center and Pentagon Child Development
Center/Children's World Learning Centers were responsible for the safe exit of
the children in their care on September 11th, exemplifying professionalism,
bravery and commitment in the face of danger. The theme of the event is "A
celebration of children & the people who care for them every day."
In keeping with the theme, the TLLCCF will present the National Working
Parent Awards to Jane Delaney of Knowledge Learning Centers/World Trade Center
and Shirley Allen of Pentagon Child Development Center, operated by Children's
World Learning Centers.
The National Working Parent award is presented to prominent individuals,
who through their life and actions show others that it is possible to reach
the pinnacle of professional success, yet maintain a commitment to family
life.
In addition, Johnson & Johnson will be presented with The Corporate
Leadership Award. This award is presented to a company that exemplifies the
best in their commitment to the child care community, as it relates to its
employees and the community at large.
Marisa A. Graziano of McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals and
Robert C. Gorman, M.D. will serve as the Co-Chairs of the 15th Annual Rose
Gala. Rosa and Bernard Meyers will serve as the Honorary Chairs of the event.

One of the most respected child care advocacy and fundraising
organizations in the U.S., the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation was
established in 1986 in memory of Terri Lynne Lokoff - a devoted child care
worker who was tragically killed in a car accident. The Terri Lynne Lokoff
Child Care Foundation is a non-profit organization that funds non-profit,
non-sectarian child care programs dedicated to excellence.
Proceeds from the 15th Annual Rose Gala will fund quality child care
