FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BankAtlantic
(NYSE: BBX), "Florida's Most Convenient Bank," today announced that it would
expand its offering of extended hours until midnight in numerous branches
throughout Florida. Open from 7:30 a.m. until midnight seven days a week,
these branches will provide customers with full-service banking at hours
convenient to their busy schedules. BankAtlantic began its "midnight hours"
pilot program in June of this year at its Kendale Lakes branch located in
Miami-Dade County.

lobbies until midnight is a continuation of BankAtlantic's commitment to

June 2004)
