RENO, Nev., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc.
(Nasdaq: RENO; PCX: RNO) today announced it is the first U.S. airline to serve
a microbrew to both first class and economy passengers. Reno Air selected
Gordon Biersch's Marzen lager, a premium German-style lager, as the microbrew
served on all of its daily flights throughout 15 states and Canada.
Reno Air is distinguishing itself as the premier lowfare airline by
offering passengers quality products like Gordon Biersch Marzen lager and Java
Coast Gourmet coffee.
"We are proud to join with the Gordon Biersch Brewing Company to provide a
new level of in-flight products," said Steve Sarner, Reno Air Vice President
of Marketing and Sales. "Serving Gordon Biersch's craft brew is another way
Reno Air is differentiating itself from our competition."
"Since our inception in 1988, Gordon Biersch has grown to seven
highly-successful Brewery Restaurant locations," said Gordon Biersch
co-founding and brewing engineer Dan Gordon. "We are pleased Reno Air, known
for its high-quality service, selected our premium Marzen lager for its
