SAN FRANCISCO Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- THE GOOD GUYS! (Nasdaq: GGUY) today
announced that sales for its first fiscal quarter ended December 31, 1997 were
$290.3 million, up 1% from $286.6 million in the first quarter of fiscal 1997.
Comparable store sales for the quarter increased 1%.
During the quarter the Company opened its third THE GOOD GUYS! AUDIO VIDEO
EXPOSITION format at the completely redesigned store in Hayward, California.
