Bull Run Corporation Subsidiary Completes Acquisition of Summit Sports

             Host Communications Acquires Soccer Properties
                   For Its 'Affinity Events' Business

    ATLANTA, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Bull Run Corporation (Nasdaq: BULL)
announced today that Host Communications, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary,
has completed its acquisition of Denver, Colorado-based Summit Sports and
Events, Inc.  Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
    Host, a sports, affinity marketing and management company, previously
announced it had reached an agreement to acquire the assets of Summit Sports.
The acquisition of Summit Sports immediately provides Host an assortment of
participatory grassroots events into its "Affinity Events" segment.
    Summit Sports oversees numerous programs that are national in scope, such
as the "Sunny Delight 3-v-3 Soccer Shootout," a 65-city national tour of
soccer tournaments; "Roundball Ruckus," a 45-city 3-on-3 basketball tour
attracting 50,000 players; and "Budweiser 6-v-6 Soccer Tournament," a five-
weekend soccer tournament in Los Angeles.  The company has 25 employees
operating in offices in Denver, Boston, Nashville and Lincoln, Nebraska.

associations and corporations.  Since the acquisition of Host, Bull Run has
been positioning itself as a sports, affinity marketing and event management
