                      and event sponsor DaimlerChrysler

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Operations Center, Inc.
("IOC"), a managed Internet service provider (MSP), announced today that
employees Nancy Jones, an IOC systems analyst and Dennis Jones, a senior
technical consultant at IOC, successfully completed the three day
DaimlerChrysler sponsored Face of America 2002 cycling event, riding from
Ground Zero in New York City to the Pentagon building in Arlington, Virginia,
to commemorate the events of September 11, 2001.
"We congratulate Nancy and Dennis for their personal efforts to honor
those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, the families of the victims,
the heroes who conducted the search and recovery efforts, and the survivors of
this horrific event. The Jones' efforts present an outstanding example of
achieving a goal we have throughout IOC -- to serve the local and global
communities in which we live and work," said Jay P. Harrison, president and
CTO of Internet Operations Center.
Three-time Tour de France champion Greg LeMond accompanied more than 1,200
cyclists, including firefighters, flight attendants and relatives of 9/11
victims. Cyclists from 12 countries and 44 states took part in the event.
The ride that ended with the cyclists singing "God Bless America" was
described as being a sign that the nation is moving forward.
"I wanted to celebrate America's freedom and heart," said IOC participant
Nancy Jones. "Our country allows us to pursue our dreams regardless of race
or gender, and as a woman this is especially important to me. The ride was a
personal statement of thanks that I am blessed to live in a country that
allows all individuals to challenge themselves and meet those challenges," she
added.
