DETROIT, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- IABC/Detroit October 4th Luncheon
New technologies, ideas and attitudes are challenging traditional
organizational communications. How do we deal with the tsunami of information
that washes over us daily? Are traditional communication roles relevant any
more? What will the longer-term effects of "citizen journalism" have on the
profession? According to IABC International Executive Board Chair Warren
Bickford, these are the questions that should be on the minds of communicators
everywhere.
Bickford shares his observations of the industry's Top 10 Trends and
Issues at the October 4, 2005 meeting of IABC/Detroit.
During this program, Bickford draws on the latest findings from the IABC
Research Foundation, as well as his 25-year career in fund development, public
relations and communications for the not-for-profit, public and private
sectors. In addition to his role as IABC Executive Board Chair, Bickford is
Vice President of Gryphon Reputation Management.
The luncheon program will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from 11:45 a.m.
- 1:30 p.m. at the Fairlane Club, 5000 Fairlane Woods Dr. (off Hubbard Dr.
between the Southfield Fwy. and Evergreen). Cost is $30 for members and $40
for non-members. To make your reservation, please call Nancy Skidmore at
248-546-5490 or nskidmore@earthlink.net .
