RiskExec(TM), a Web Based Suite of Regulatory Software, Allows Clients to
Focus Less on Data Management and More on Compliance Work
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ERS Group, SOURCECORP's
(Nasdaq: SRCP) leading authority on matters of litigation and expert witness
testimony announced today the release of the 2004 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act
(HMDA) Peer Databases and Rankings in RiskExec, a suite of regulatory
compliance software tools.
With the release of these 2004 HMDA Peer tables and rankings in RiskExec,
ERS Group is believed to be the first firm in the nation to enable their
financial clients a full review of lending and competitive performance in the
home mortgage market for 2004 -- both nationally and in specific geographies.
(ERS Group and RiskExec also issued a press release announcing the
availability of its 2004 CRA data and rankings on August 25, 2005).
The importance of these rankings is underscored by the current scrutiny of
lenders for potential loan pricing issues. The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act,
in part, helps federal regulators determine whether financial institutions are
serving the housing needs of their communities as well as helping banks and
regulators identify possible discriminatory lending patterns.
"We have a unique ability to quickly provide data to our RiskExec clients,
enabling them to receive the information before any other regulatory
compliance software vendor. Financial service firms are awaiting this
information regarding the year-over-year trends and any changes they might
find in lending patterns based on the 2004 regulatory code changes. Releasing
these HMDA rankings so quickly after the data have been provided by the
federal government is a distinct advantage of RiskExec," stated Joy Seaver,
National Sales Manager, ERS Group. "We are able to seamlessly provide
decision making data to our clients without cumbersome downloads or any costly
updates required on their part."
The RiskExec software suite currently includes geocoding, mapping, edit
check management, regulatory filing, and all manners of data visualization --
from interactive maps to peer rankings to tables and charts -- as well as
executive and regulatory reporting for all facets of Home Mortgage Disclosure
Act (HMDA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Home Ownership Equity
Protection Act (HOEPA), including high cost loan analyses.
