LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Pink tags will be on display
throughout Food 4 Less and Foods Co stores again this year as the
supermarket chain partners with vendors and suppliers to support National
Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
Throughout the month, pink tags can be found on shelves in Food 4 Less
stores in Southern California and Southern Nevada and Foods Co stores in
Central and Northern California to identify participating products
customers can purchase to support breast cancer awareness in their
community. Several of the Company's vendor partners have created special
packaging to support the campaign. In addition, Food 4 Less Director of
Foundation Relations Jan Golleher, a four-year breast cancer survivor, will
share her experience on specially-marked products, including Kellogg's
Special K Red Berries cereal and Keebler Club Crackers.
Participating vendor partners include Campbell's, Coca-Cola's Powerade
and Minute Maid brands, General Mills products under the Betty Crocker,
Pillsbury and Green Giant labels, and Kraft products. Many of the company
own corporate brand items will also have pink tags.

during the campaign to support breast cancer research and awareness in
communities its stores serve.
