LabelShop ERPLabel/SAP Makes Connecting to Intermec Printers Easy
EVERETT, Wash., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Intermec Technologies Corp.
announces a development relationship with SAP to create a computer extension
that makes it easy to integrate Intermec printers into SAP's R/3 software
program.
Working together, research laboratories for Intermec Technologies Corp.
and SAP have created a computer extension to Intermec's standard bar-code
design software that allows direct barcode output from R/3 to Intermec's
EasyCoder printers.
The extension, ERPLabel/SAP, supports automatic label printing within SAP
without the use of additional tools, significantly reducing the resources
required to integrate Intermec printers. The key is ERPLabel/SAP's ability to
generate an SAPScript file that can directly drive EasyCoder printers.
A joint trial of ERPLabel/SAP earlier this year was so successful that it
now is available worldwide through the SAP's OSS database at note number
0137069.
