partnership.
Under terms of the strategic relationship, the companies will jointly
market Telxon and PinPoint solutions to the marketplace, create an integrated
solution to seamlessly combine traditional mobile information systems
operations with real-time locating, and work to integrate PinPoint locating
technology into Telxon mobile computing products. In addition, Telxon will
market and resell PinPoint's 3D-iD(TM) solution to its installed customer

market Telxon's mobile computing systems as part of their product offering.

The integration of Telxon's mobile information and wireless communications
systems and its Automatic Identification Data Collection (AIDC) industry
expertise, combined with PinPoint's innovative Local Positioning System (LPS)
technology will provide customers with unprecedented real-time resource
management capabilities. For the first time, customers will have one complete
solution and a single point of contact to meet their complete asset tracking
and data communications/collection requirements, saving significant equipment
costs and management resources. The first products developed by Telxon and
PinPoint are expected to be available during calendar year 2000.
