Boston Herald, Worcester (Mass.) Telegram Purchase Piranha Science
FREEHOLD, N.J., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Piranha Inc.'s
(OTC Bulletin Board: BYTE) wholly-owned subsidiary, Impact Solutions, has
announced the first sales of Piranha Byte to U.S. newspapers and its support
of the Xerox Newspaper Network that is scheduled to debut next year.
Xerox will participate in Impact Solution's booth at IFRA, the annual
international newspaper and printing exhibition at Amsterdam, Oct. 9-12. The
Boston Herald and the Worcester (Mass.) Telegram are the first newspapers that
will incorporate Piranha's compression technology in their digital photography
operations.

Piranha Byte enables newspapers to transmit high-resolution digital files
faster from remote sites. Byte's high compression ratio also requires less
storage space for archiving and reduces time to move files through digital
workflows.

"We'll use it to transmit compressed photographs and stories from our regional
news offices to the city newsroom. And we'll use Piranha to transmit ads from
