IT physical security is a top concern for many networking managers and
NetBotz helps APC address this concern with their complete suite of security
management products that complement APC's InfraStruXure architecture for
wiring closets, server rooms and large data centers. In addition to new
software management capabilities, NetBotz will add video surveillance and an

damaging physical and environmental conditions. NetBotz helps organizations
protect their business value by ensuring availability of critical
infrastructure from environmental threats such as extreme heat and water
leaks, human error and sabotage, and radioactive and chemical materials. The

particle sensors and motion detection cameras, management software, add-on
hardware and software, and accessories. Austin, Texas-based NetBotz employs
61 individuals.

a single choice for all of their data center infrastructure needs, from power,
cooling, and racks to complete NCPI management," said Rodger B. Dowdell, Jr.,
APC's president and CEO. "We are delighted to add NetBotz and its expansive
product portfolio to the APC team. APC's sales channels will vastly increase
the sales opportunities for NetBotz's innovative products, and our newly
expanded portfolio of environmental monitoring solutions will help us grow our
position in the estimated $7 billion network-critical physical infrastructure
market."
NetBotz monitoring appliances can monitor all types of physical IT
environments, from server rooms to LAN closets to large data centers. A
typical NetBotz solution consists of a base station appliance with integrated
environmental sensors, a color camera, and add-on sensor pods. Available
options include central management software to manage larger deployments and
an extended warranty.
"We are very pleased to be joining forces with APC since they are a rising
star in the data center market," said Tom Goldman, NetBotz president and CEO.
"APC's InfraStruXure architecture is clearly revolutionizing the way companies
build data centers today, and our products complement InfraStruXure extremely
well. We look forward to helping APC expand its environmental and security
