Jan Hart Black: Black is President of the Greater Dallas Chamber of
Commerce. Mrs. Black was the first woman city manager of Dallas and the first
president of the Greater Dallas Chamber. Mrs. Black has known Harriet Miers
since her tenure on the Dallas City Council in the late 1980's.
Michael Boone: Boone is a member of the Board of Directors and one of the
co-founders of Haynes and Boone, which is one of the largest and fastest-

Corporation in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Dunning has known Harriet Miers for years

Democratic candidate for Mayor of Dallas in 2002.
Linda Eads: Eads is a constitutional law professor at Southern Methodist
University, where Harriet Miers received her undergraduate and law degrees and
later served as trial advocacy instructor and on the Law School's Executive
Committee. Professor Eads also served as Deputy Attorney General for Texas
where she supervised 300 lawyers in the eleven civil litigation divisions of
the Attorney General's Office and she represented the Texas Lottery Commission
during Ms. Miers' tenure as Chairwoman.
Craig T. Enoch: Enoch served 11 years on the Supreme Court of Texas and
nearly 22 years as a district and appeals court judge. Justice Enoch worked
with Harriet Miers during her tenure as president of the State Bar of Texas
and while she was a prominent Texas attorney.
Raul Gonzalez: Gonzalez was elected as a Democrat to the Supreme Court of
Texas, Associate Justice on the Thirteenth Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi
and District Judge on the 103rd District Court in Brownsville. Justice
Gonzalez, who has known Harriet Miers for more than 25 years, currently serves
on the University of Houston's Board of Regents and he is of counsel in the
Austin office of Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP where Ms. Miers served as co-
managing partner. Justice Gonzalez also served as the Texas Supreme Court's
liaison to the bar association during Ms. Miers' tenure as president of the
State Bar of Texas.
Robin P. Hartmann: Hartmann is a partner with the Dallas law firm of
Haynes and Boone, where he worked closely with Harriet Miers on numerous
issues. Mr. Hartmann has had an extensive and varied trial practice for over
30 years.
Nathan Hecht: Hecht, who has known Harriet Miers for more than 30 years,
has served on the Supreme Court of Texas since 1988. Justice Hecht began his
judicial service on the 95th District Court of Dallas County and he was
elected to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas in
1986. Prior to joining the bench, Justice Hecht practiced law with Ms. Miers'
in Dallas law firm of Locke, Purnell, Boren, Laney & Neely.
Jack Hightower: Hightower was elected as a Democrat to the Supreme Court
of Texas, U.S. Congress, Texas Senate, Texas House of Representatives and
local district attorney. Justice Hightower worked with Harriet Miers during
her tenure as president of the State Bar of Texas and while she was a
prominent Texas attorney.
John Hill: Hill was elected as a Democrat as Attorney General of TX,
Secretary of State and as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of TX. Justice
Hill is currently a partner with Winstead, Sechrest & Minick P.C. Justice
Hill worked with Harriet Miers during her tenure as chairwoman of TX Lottery
Commission, president of the State Bar of TX and when they worked for the law
firm of Locke, Liddell & Sapp LLP.
Rhonda Hunter: Hunter served as the first African American president of
the Dallas Bar Association. Ms. Hunter has known Harriet Miers for more than
10 years and they worked together at the Dallas Bar Association.
Darrell Jordan: Jordan began his legal career as a prosecutor at the
Dallas County District Attorney's office and he is currently the managing
partner of Godwin Gruber law firm. Mr. Jordan is a past president of the
State Bar of Texas and he worked closely with Harriet Miers during her tenure
as president of the Dallas Bar Association as well as the State Bar of Texas.
Rebecca Kline: Kline is managing partner in the Austin office of the law
firm of Loeffler, Tuggey, Pauerstein and Rosenthal. Ms. Kline worked with
Harriet Miers in the Texas legal community as well as in the Bush
administration.
Bruce LaBoon: LaBoon is a partner in the Houston office of the law firm
of Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP and a former Vice Chairman and General Counsel of
Texas Commerce Bancshares, Inc. Mr. LaBoon co-managed Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP
with Ms. Miers prior to her departure.
David Leitch: Leitch is general counsel and a senior vice president of
Ford Motor Company. Mr. Leitch worked closely with Harriet Miers when he
served as the deputy assistant to President George W. Bush and the White
House's deputy counsel.
Lynne Liberato: Liberato is a partner in the Houston office of the law
firm of Haynes and Boone and a past president of the Houston Bar Association
and the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Liberato worked closely with Harriet Miers
during her tenure with the Houston and Texas Bar Associations.
Peggy Lundy: Lundy specializes in civil mediations and hosts her own talk
radio show on 990AM in Dallas. Mrs. Lundy's late husband, Judge Nick Lundy of
Dallas, attended Southern Methodist University Law School with Harriet Miers
and they have known each other for years.
Elizabeth Lang-Miers: Lang-Miers is Harriet Miers' sister-in-law and
currently serves as a judge on the Fifth Court of Appeals in Dallas. Prior to
joining the bench, Judge Lang-Miers was a partner with the law firm of Locke
Liddell & Sapp LLP in Dallas, where Harriet Miers served as co-managing
partner. During their time together at the firm, Harriet Miers introduced
Judge Lang-Miers to her brother and set them up on a blind date.
Colleen McHugh: McHugh is a past president of the State Bar of Texas and
currently serves a partner with Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Corpus Chrsiti.
Ms. McHugh worked closely with Harriet Miers at the State Bar of Texas.
Joseph Norton: Norton currently serves as a law professor at Southern
Methodist University School of Law. Professor Norton has known Harriet Miers
for more than 30 years when they joined the same law firm one day apart and
worked together for 16 years. In addition to their professional relationship,
they are close personal friends and Ms. Miers is Godmother to Professor
Norton's 31 year old daughter.
Rena Pederson: Pederson served as editor at large, vice president and
editorial page editor at The Dallas Morning News and she is a past president
of the National Conference of Editorial Writers. Ms. Pederson has known
Harriet Miers personally for more than 20 years in various social and women's
groups in the Dallas area.
Tom Phillips: Phillips was appointed by Governor William P. Clements as
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas in 1987 and he was elected as
Chief Justice in 1988, 1990, 1996, and 2002. Justice Phillips worked with
Harriet Miers during her tenure as President of the State Bar of Texas and
while she was a prominent Texas attorney. Justice Phillips currently serves
as a partner in the Austin office of the law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P.
Louise Raggio: Raggio, still practicing law at age 85, is considered a
"pioneer in marital and family rights" and been called the "Mother of Family
Law in Texas." Mrs. Raggio graduated from Southern Methodist University law
school in 1952 and was the only woman in that class. Mrs. Raggio has known
Harriet Miers, personally and professionally, for more than 35 years,
including when Ms. Miers was a law student at SMU.
C. Paul Rogers III: Rogers served as Southern Methodist University School
of Law's associate dean for academic affairs, acting dean and as dean. Rogers
currently serves as a SMU law professor. Rogers has known Harriet Miers for
almost 20 years and worked with her on issues related to SMU Law School and
the Dallas Bar Association.
Jonathan Vickery: Vickery serves as Director of Advocacy & Grant
Administration for Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas. Mr. Vickery has known
Harriet Miers since the 1980's when Ms. Miers served on the board of directors
of the Legal Services of North Texas and Mr. Vickery served as their executive
director.
Dale Wainwright: Wainwright was elected as to the Supreme Court of Texas
in 2002. Justice Wainwright was appointed to the civil district court in 1999
by then Governor George W. Bush. Wainwright has worked with Miers on a number
of legal issues.
Betsy Whitaker: Whitaker serves as co-managing partner of Bracewell &
Giuliani LLP in Dallas and Fort Worth. Ms. Whitaker worked closely with
Harriet Miers in the Dallas legal community as well as with the State Bar of
