RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Funding Affordable Housing in
Virginia, a symposium co-hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and
the Virginia Housing Coalition, will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of
Richmond at 701 East Byrd Street on Wednesday, October 13 from 1-5 p.m. This
event is open to the public and free of charge, but a photo ID must be
presented to enter the Bank.
The symposium will encourage meaningful dialogue between resource
providers, community leaders, and housing development organizations challenged
by an increasing demand and diminishing public resources. Members of the
banking and business community, housing providers, and individuals interested
in affordable housing issues should plan to attend. Topics will include
financing strategies, public resources available for development and
financing, and successful alternative funding strategies.
