Augments CMP Information's Position in the Independent Care and Air Traffic

announces today that its wholly-owned, UK-based subsidiary CMP Information
has acquired a tradeshow and a conference in separate transactions.
    CMPi has acquired The Care Show for a total cash consideration of
GBP450,000 plus a further performance based deferred payment of up to
GBP350,000 over the next year. The Care Show is the market-leading,
twice-yearly tradeshow for the UK independent care market, attracting more
than 150 exhibitors and 2,000 visitors at its March 2006 event. The Care
Show complements CMPi's Caring Business publication and website
(http://www.caringbusiness.co.uk) and augments CMP's position as a key media
player in the growing independent care market.
    In a second, separate transaction, CMPi has acquired the ATC (Air
Traffic Control) Maastricht Conference from Jane's Information Group for a
total cash consideration of GBP126,000. Having run alongside CMPi's highly
successful ATC Maastricht Exhibition for the last 16 years, the acquisition
of the ATC Conference gives CMPi an additional strong media channel to
complement its exhibition.
