PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Concluding a national
search, Nicholas Procyk has been named Senior Vice President and Chief
Investment Officer for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Mr. Procyk comes to Children's Hospital after seven years as Vice
President of the Church Pension Fund, based in New York. He joined the firm
in 2001, and his responsibilities included public equities, hedge funds and
select private equity partnerships.
In his new role, Mr. Procyk will be responsible for investment policy,
asset allocation, and investment manager selection for the Children's
Hospital Foundation and pension fund, with assets under responsibility of
about $1.3 billion.

Prior to joining the Church Fund, Mr. Procyk was Director of Pension
Investments at Merck & Co., Inc., where he worked for most of his career.
Mr. Procyk received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and
has a MBA from Columbia University. He resides in Lambertville, NJ.
